What is your name? Beth Gilder
What is your role within SBY? I am the project coordinator for the Discover Maths programme and I will be supporting the Green Futures programme.
What are you looking forward to doing at SBY? I’m excited to meet all the young people on this year’s programmes and to share some fantastic experiences with them – we have such a broad range of activities on our programmes which we will all really enjoy. I’m also looking forward to seeing our young people boost their skills and confidence and grow as individuals, which is what it’s all about!
Tell us why you love working with young people? They are our future! I think empowering young people to reach their full potential is vital to ensure society is the best it can be. I personally find it really rewarding getting to know the young people I work with and am often inspired by their energy and insights.
